Yorkton searching for assistant coach

BY Jonathan Huntington

SASKATOON – The Yorkton Kinsmen Maulers are looking for an assistant coach to help lead the organization in a new direction.

After a frustrating 2025-26 season – when the club won six games – the Maulers are taking those learning lessons and changing their path for this upcoming season. Josh Garbutt will enter his first full season as head coach after taking the reins in January. And now, the club is searching for a defensive-minded assistant coach.

Applications to GM Jeremy Palanuik are accepted up to June 2nd. You can view the entire job posting right here: https://www.maulers.ca/kinsmen-maulers-in-search-of-new-assistant-coach
